Steph Agnew’s world changed in an instant when at 19 she was diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition. From the lows of workplace discrimination to the highs of getting married Steph’s stories are inspiring in so many ways. She proudly navigates the world with her guide dog Rocky and she’s passionate about inclusion and changing dated misconceptions around disability. Her mantra is people with disability can do all things; they just do them differently.

Communications and fundraising expert Kitty Walker has worked with some big names in the arts including the Australian Ballet and Bangarra Dance Theatre. She’s a passionate mum determined to tackle the issues that matter; most notably she’s a driving force behind her local council’s climate crisis declaration and response plan. and at 41 she’s learning to ocean swim in support of youth mental heath foundation Reach.

There are few journeys as emotional to embark on as having a child and fertility expert, gynecologist and obstetrician Gareth Weston guides some of his patients through the entire process from conception to delivery. On a personal level his passion for history and travel has taken him on many adventures from Antarctica to being held at gunpoint in Africa. His motto is that we must “suck the marrow out of life” and to this end Gareth is a man determined to live life to the full.

In 1996 Linda Fenton was the first woman in Australia to win an unfair dismissal case for being made redundant while on maternity leave. Conversation around around the discrimination, bullying and harassment faced by women in the workplace is as poignant now as ever. Now living life on her own terms Linda is writing a book that details what she endured over many years and the devastating toll it took on her mental health.
